At LH Kids, our mission is to develop disciples who are passionately in love with Jesus. Each week, future world changers will grow more in love with God and His house through worship, interactive lessons, and of course, fun!
Your child's safety is our top priority. We have a dedicated team who have undergone background checks and training to ensure your kids are safe, loved, and having a blast. From secure check-in systems to vigilant supervision, we’re committed to creating a worry-free experience for parents.
MEET OUR KIDS MINISTRY DIRECTORS
Daniel & Illona Kovalchuk
Daniel and Illona Kovalchuk serve as the Directors of Kids Ministry at Living Hope Church, a church dedicated to sharing the good news of Christ in a fun, engaging, and loving environment. Daniel and Illona stepped into this role in January 2025 with a deep passion for helping children encounter Jesus and grow in their faith from an early age.
Illona brings her heart for ministry, creativity, and dedication to creating meaningful lessons and experiences for every child. Daniel complements her leadership with his enthusiasm, mentorship, and commitment to building a strong, Christ-centered community for kids and volunteers alike. Together, they feel blessed to serve and see God’s hand at work in every aspect of Kids Church.
Daniel and Illona have been married since 2014 and have 4 children. As a family, they love spending time together, enjoying the outdoors and game nights. They are honored to lead the next generation at Living Hope Church and to share the joy of knowing Jesus with every child who walks through the doors.
