OUR PASTORS

Alex Kovalchuk serves as the Lead Pastor of Living Hope Church, a life-giving community where people are encouraged to encounter God, grow in faith, and live out their purpose with boldness and joy.
As a teenager, Alex dedicated his life to Jesus and felt God’s call to minister to others. In 2004, he attended Christ for the Nations Institute for pastoral training, and since then, he has spent over 15 years serving in the local church.
In 2019, God placed a vision on Alex’s heart to plant a church that would reach the greater Seattle area with the hope of Jesus. That vision became Living Hope Church, where passion, joy, and a focus on life transformation are at the center of everything. In 2010, Alex married the love of his life, Viki, and together they are raising four beautiful children. Their family is passionate about loving people, serving their community, and helping others experience an authentic relationship with God.
When he’s not leading the church, Alex enjoys sports, camping, and family adventures. He loves meeting new people and hearing their stories — so if you visit Living Hope, expect a big smile and a heartfelt welcome.
